A safe evening at the theatre

What is a valid COVID admission ticket?

This can be a negative test result, a vaccination certificate or proof that you have recovered from corona (proof of recovery). You must convert one of these into a QR code in the CoronaCheck app or a print via CoronaCheck.nl. Only then will you have a valid COVID admission ticket.

You can obtain a COVID admission ticket as follows:

  • NEGATIVE TEST RESULT - A negative test result less than 24 hours before the event. You can make an appointment for a corona test at an affiliated test location in your area via https://www.testenvoortoegang.org/.
  • VACCINATION PROOF - Full corona vaccination. With a European approved vaccine. In the Netherlands, a vaccination is usually valid from 14 days after you have been fully vaccinated. Were you vaccinated with Janssen on or after August 14, 2021? Then your vaccination in the Netherlands is valid after 28 days. Usually, CoronaCheck can automatically collect your vaccination certificate from the systems of RIVM or GGD.
  • RECOVERY CERTIFICATE - Proof of a positive PCR corona test at the GGD from a minimum of 11 days and a maximum of 180 days ago.

You can find the steps you need to take to turn your test, vaccination or recovery certificate into a valid COVID admission ticket in the form of a QR code on the website of the central Dutch government, see https://www.rijksoverheid.nl/onderwerpen/coronavirus-covid-19/coronabewijs/coronabewijs-voor-evenementen.

Or watch this video (in Dutch) explaining all the steps.

What happens upon entry?

  • If you visit an activity or performance at ITA where a valid COVID admission ticket is required, your QR code will be scanned at the entrance. This is your valid COVID admission ticket. You either show this QR code on your phone in the CoronaCheck app or you have already printed it at home via CoronaCheck.nl/en.
  • Please do not forget a proof of identity when you visit us. Our employee compares the details of your proof of identity with the details of the valid COVID admission ticket.
  • For activities and performances with a valid COVID admission ticket, there is no need to keep a distance.
  • To avoid confusion, every ticket buyer also receives a reminder e-mail two days before the visit with an up-to-date state of affairs.

For questions about tickets please email us at bespreekbureau@ita.nl . Our box office will be opened 1,5 hours prior to each performance.
