This summer, Vondelpark Openluchttheater will host (inter)national dance companies as part of Julidans. The performances are free to attend.
On 8 July you can see Hellend Vlak by Vloeistof and a varied programme by Arts Umbrella Dance Company.

In Hellend Vlak you find yourself in the middle of the dancers' difficult choice: the choice between helping each other or just saving your own skin. A dance performance that hovers between familiarity and absurdism. After all, we all have the boundless talent to put things into perspective. Are you already getting a bit warmer?

Arts Umbrella Dance Company
Sophisticated, dedicated and inspired. The Arts Umbrella Dance Company (AUDC) is a pre-professional repertory dance company based in Vancouver, Canada. The company rehearses and performs new, innovative works by leading North American and European choreographers. During Julidans at the park, two performances will be presented, Orbo Novo by choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and the piece Smokey Sarah by choreographer Marco Goecke.
