ITA Pride: In conversation with...

The programme is open to the public, free of charge and starts at 22:20, after the performances.
You'll enjoy it even if you don't come to the show, but it'll be more fun if you do!
Start 22:20 (following both performances)
Free admission (even without ticket for the performance)
The Salon (downstairs, next to the Brasserie)
Feel free to bring a drink
Tuesday 30 July - The Pack
with Florian Myjer & Mitch Wolterink
This programme was put together by the young guns at ITA and is about gender identity. Experience 'The Genderblender': what taboos do we still need to break?
Young actors Florian Myjer (Small Town Boy) and Mitch Wolterink (Fun Home) will be Valentijn's sidekicks.
Wednesday 31 July - Meet the makers
with Marcus Azzini & Koen van Dijk
During Pride, we celebrate our gender identity and sexuality. But behind that pride is a wide range of emotions. Directors Marcus Azzini (Toneelgroep Oostpool) and Koen van Dijk (OpusOne) have both staged performances on this theme to the Netherlands especially for Pride and will discuss 'soft' activism with the audience.
Thursday 1 August - Pride Amsterdam
with Nevin Özütok, Illias Zian, Siep de Haan, and Ype Driessen
The organisers behind Pride Amsterdam want to continue drawing attention to human rights in general and the acceptance and equality of the LHBTI+ community in particular, around the world. Guests Nevin Özütok (MP GroenLinks, spokesperson for emancipation and LHBT+), Illias Zian (Arts & Culture committee, Pride Amsterdam), Siep de Haan (founder of Pride Amsterdam), and Ype Driessen (fotonovella artist, weekly in Het Parool) will discuss the up and downsides of Pride with the audience.
Friday, August 2 - Who am I?
with Rick Paul van Mulligen & Ad Knippels
A conversation about identity. Which choices define our lives? Actors Rick Paul van Mulligen (Small Town Boy) and Ad Knippels (Fun Home) discuss the influence of sexual orientation on your career.
