The Copenhagen Trilogy will be rescheduled.

Eline Arbo: "Over the past two years, I have worked tirelessly with a fantastic team to set a new course for ITA, both artistically and organisationally. Just before the summer, I noticed that fatigue had built up after years of very intensive work. I took complete rest. In recent weeks, I have cautiously built up a few hours again, but I now have to conclude that my recovery is not going as quickly as I had hoped. The preparations for The Copenhagen Trilogy and the intensive rehearsal process cannot be accommodated in “a few hours of work per week”. That is why I am temporarily stepping down from my directing duties and making room. First and foremost for my own further recovery, but also to create clarity for our audience and everyone involved in this production. It is not an easy decision, but it is what is needed now so that we can soon return to making fantastic productions at full strength."

Managing Director Clayde Menso: "Eline is making an incredibly courageous decision by temporarily stepping down from her directing work and focusing on her own recovery. By being transparent about this, she is creating clarity for our organisation and audience. In the coming period, she will limit herself to overseeing the major artistic lines and choices. We are confident that she will soon resume her directing work with renewed energy, but we also want to give her the time and rest she needs now. I know that we as an organisation can handle this. The organisation is in good shape. Our foundation is strong, our artistic course is firmly anchored, and the resilience of our colleagues is unparalleled."

The Copenhagen Trilogy series will be postponed to the 2026-2027 theatre season. Ticket buyers will be notified personally. We will provide more information about the spring of 2026 and a possible replacement performance shortly.
