Nine Olivier Award nominations for British remakes of ITA-productions
On Tuesday 4 March, the nominations were announced for the Olivier Awards, the UK theatre awards. We are delighted that the British remakes of our shows The Years and Oedipus have together secured no less than nine nominations!
The nominations:
- Eline Arbo - Best director (The Years)
- Robert Icke - Best director (Oedipus)
- The Years - Best new play
- Thijs van Vuure - Best sound design (The Years)
- Romola Garai - Best actress in a supporting role (The Years)
- Gina McKee - Best actress in a supporting role (The Years)
- Lesly Manville - Best actress (Oedipus)
- Mark Strong - Best actor (Oedipus)
- Oedipus - Best revival
The awards will be presented at The Royal Albert Hall on 6 April.
