Sara Afiba

Sara Afiba is currently appearing as Eurydice in the Tony Award–winning Broadway musical Hadestown (2025) at the Royal Theatre Carré, her most notable role to date. Since graduating from the Amsterdamse Toneel & Kleinkunstacademie in 2023, she has rapidly established herself across film, television, and theatre, emerging as one of the most compelling rising talents of her generation.

She made her debut in Save It (2021) by Amira Duynhouwer and has since appeared in Het Gouden Uur (2022) alongside Nasrdin Dchar, WTF?! (2022), Sihame (2022), and the box-office hit All Inclusive (2023). She also appeared in the horror film Jimmy (2024), available on Amazon Prime, and has held a recurring role in Het Sinterklaasjournaal (since 2024).

On stage, she performed in the musical theatre production Wolfgang, het wonderjong (2022), produced by Theateralliantie & Theater Oostpool and directed by Pieter Kramer, followed by De Hospita (2023) alongside Simone Kleinsma. As mentioned above, in 2025 she was cast as Eurydice in Hadestown, a role that earned her widespread recognition and glowing reviews.

In season 25/26 Afiba can be seen at ITA in the premiere of A Streetcar Named Desire, directed by Rebecca Frecknall.
