On November 25, 2025, the Gala van de Wetenschap will take place for the thirteenth time at the International Theater Amsterdam. Nuclear physicist Ralf Mackenbach is our guest curator this year; together with the very best scientists, he will look in the rear-view mirror, and then cast his gaze forward to discover what scientific lessons from the past can help us in the future.
Stephen Hawking, Marie Curie, Albert Einstein, as well as Johanna Westerdijk and Christiaan Huygens were way ahead of their time and paved the way for today's researchers. Cross-disciplinary, fundamental and applied. The Gala van de Wetenschap an evening full of wonder and groundbreaking insights.
