Instinct
INSTINCT is not just a dance performance - it is an explosion of energy, movement and emotion. In this dynamic performance, featuring a group of adventurous dancers, the Rotterdam-based dance company Conny Janssen Danst plunges into the four instinctive responses to threat: fight, flee, freeze or please. What happens when you are under pressure?

INSTINCT
For the first time, a Conny Janssen Danst big stage production comes about through co-creation. Artistic leader Conny Janssen invited choreographer Patricia van Deutekom to join in. Patricia van Deutekom has a strong, unpolished but sensitive dance language, whereas Conny Janssen's focus is on the individual qualities of her dancers, which she intertwines with her own dance language. The result? A compelling mixture of movement, music and narratives that will take you to the struggle, tension and adrenaline of everyday life.
