Larbi
Each spring, Introdans presents the work of one choreographer in a focus program. In spring 2026, renowned choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui will be the focus of Introdans' focus program. His poetic style is known worldwide, from Arnhem to Los Angeles, and he has also worked with stars such as Beyoncé and Madonna. The evening features the ballets Fall, In Memoriam, and a brand-new solo for dancer Marc Brew.

LARBI
An ode to resilience.
Fall
Fall refers both to the falling and discoloring autumn leaves and to the (dancer's) body's continuous struggle with gravity. In this piece, Cherkaoui creates feathery duets and group pieces of stature. To meditative music by Arvo Pärt, he models with the dancers like a sculptor. This choreography from Introdans' repertoire is a celebration of pure dance.
In Memoriam
This contemporary masterpiece about loss and remembrance is intense. It is a tribute to the choreographer's ancestors.

The rustling skirts and rushing video footage propel the dancers forward in this meditative performance.
New solo
For dancer/choreographer Marc Brew, a split-second car accident radically changed his life. Now, in Crash, he shows his resilience in his own way. How do you dance on, when your body is out of balance? Introdans shows a new adaptation of this inclusive choreography that focuses on the exploration of Brew's new body reality.
Artistic director
Roel Voorintholt on LARBI
'We speak the same (dance) language. That is the core of our collaboration with Larbi. With seven of his choreographies in our repertoire, it is high time to put him in the spotlight.'
