Internationaal Theater Amsterdam
During Festival Brandhaarden 2026, Internationaal Theater Amsterdam will draw inspiration from Théâtre Vidy-Lausanne, a venue that focuses on sustainable theater. ITA is housed in the monumental Stadsschouwburg and is working on major sustainability ambitions. During this tour, you will be taken to the renovated Pleinfoyer and the water-retaining roof of the Rabozaal, among other places. We will also tell you about sustainable production and the 750 solar panels on the monumental roof. Learn more about sustainable theatre at ITA!
