Wildsong
Jan Martens is a bold and abstract choreographer who takes contemporary music as a starting point for his work. He deliberately chooses alternative music to highlight innovative voices. For his first creation for NDT 1, he works with a large ensemble of dancers on the energetic compositions Pretty by Julia Wolfe and GG Concerto by Hanna Kulenty. This work promises a powerful celebration of endurance, resistance and rebellion.

Marcos Morau, brand new associate choreographer, takes us through the imaginative Horses (2024). Known for his visually impressive, surreal works, Morau explores in Horses what it means to survive in a world of change and chaos. The energetic dancers and electrifying music by Andrzej Panufnik and Caroline Shaw make it an unforgettable experience.
