ITA stands with Ukraine
In the upcoming days International Theatre Amsterdam will be lit up in blue and yellow. We are shocked by the Russian invasion of Ukraine and sympathizes with everyone affected by it. We stand in solidarity with all residents of Ukraine. We also embrace theatres, artists, makers, companies and collectives that want to continue to work with art and culture for peace, dialogue and open collaboration.
This weekend – on March 4, 5 and 6 – ITA will join the joint campaign #hArtforUkraine. This weekend ITA will also donate part of the income from the performance of the ITA ensemble to Giro555. We call on our audience and our followers to alsomake a donation, for example via the collaborating aid organizations www.Giro555.nl. Will you join us?
