Aiko Beemsterboer

Aiko Beemsterboer is a talented young Dutch actress. She played her first role in the feature film Leve Boerenliefde (2013) when she was just 9 years old. At 18, she earned a Dutch Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the romantic comedy Wat is dan Liefde (2020). In 2025, she received a nomination for Best Leading Role for the feature Ik zal zien, in which she portrays Lot, a young girl going blind after a tragic accident. The NFF jury specifically highlighted her portrayal of Lot as carrying the emotional weight of the film, delivering a performance that is both subtle and powerful.

In season 26/27 she can be seen at ITA in the premiere of Wuthering Heights (directed by Kjersti Horn).
