Bart Bijnens
Bart Bijnens (1992) attended the Toneelacademie Maastricht and studied at the École Philippe Gaulier in France. After graduating from the Toneelacademie in 2017, Bart has been working for Internationaal Theater Amsterdam in Oedipus directed by Robert Icke and The Hidden Force, The Damned and Kings of War directed by Ivo van Hove.
Bart acted for Het Nationale Theater, Toneelgroep Maastricht, De Toneelschuur and Toneelgroep Suburbia, among others.
Bart was nominated by Cultura Nova to participate in Centriphery, a European collaboration for interdisciplinary artists. This project saw Bart working for Dansehallerne in Copenhagen, Denmark. Abroad, Bart worked with the ensemble of the Danish Glad Teater (DK) and Complicité (UK) from London.
In season 23|24 he performed in the revival of The Damned (directed by Ivo van Hove).
