Daan van Dijsseldonk

Daan van Dijsseldonk graduated from the acting course in Toneelacademie Maastricht in 2008. He then acted with several theatre companies, such as Toneelgroep Amsterdam (in Opening Night), NTGent (in Brandhaarden), Het Nationale Toneel (in Liaisons Dangereuses), Toneelgroep Oostpool (in Pijlers van de samenleving), Het Zuidelijk Toneel (in Klein Utopia), and de Veenfabriek (in Ze belt zodra het nacht is).

Daan also performed in Figaro in Four Quartets by the Nationale Reisopera, in Het bijzondere leven van Jesse en Tristan van Es (a monologue, with Stella den Haag), and in Woeste Hoogten with Theater Artemis.

Alongside these projects, Daan is a member of the artistic core of Firma MES. This company operates from The Hague and is aimed at creating challenging but accessible performances on location and in the theatre. Firma MES made, among others, the following productions: Roes, Volg, Troost and Stel. Starting in 2013, Firma MES is structurally subsidised.

Daan appeared in various films and television series, such as Maite was hier, Overspel, New Kids Turbo, New Kids Nitro and Deadline 2.
