Thomas Cammaert

Thomas Cammaert (1984) graduated from the Theaterschool and Kleinkunstacademie of Amsterdam. He could be seen as guest actor in the premiere of De meiden (directed by Katie Mitchell) and in Don Carlos (directed by Ivo van Hove).

C.V.

Previously, Cammaert was featured in stage productions such as De Geschiedenis van de Familie Avenier by het Toneel Speelt. He also played the role of Cléante in the play De ingebeelde ziekte by Molière. Cammaert received excellent reviews for his leading role as Frits van Egters in the performance of De avonden, after the famous book by Gerard Reve. In 2016, he could also be seen as Erik Hazelhoff in the musical Soldaat van Oranje and the lunch performance Kogelvis van Oostpool in collaboration with Theatre Bellevue.

In 2014 he performed the role of Joop Admiraal in the successful TV series Ramses by Michiel van Erp, while in 2015 he appeared in the television series Sam's Kerst by Michiel van Jaarsveld.

Cammaert made his cinema debut with a role in the feature film Vermist by Jan Verheyen and had roles in films such as Sonny Boy by Maria Peters and Tiramisu by Paula van der Oest. In 2015, he was seen on the silver screen in the feature films Publieke Werken by Joram Lürsen and Ja, ik wil! by Kees van Nieuwkerk.
