Tom Penn

Tom Penn (1989) began his career creating and performing theatre at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. As a performer, musical director and musician, he has worked with The National Theatre, The Royal Shakespeare Company, Royal Ballet and Opera and the BBC, while performing around the world including at Salzburger Festspiele, Brisbane Festival, Basillica di San Francesco d’Assisi and The Royal Albert Hall.

As Associate Artist with Little Bulb Theatre, he created and starred in the Olivier Award winning Wolf Witch Giant Fairy at The Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.

Tom is an original cast member of Rebecca Frecknall’s Olivier Award winning adaptation of A Streetcar Named Desire, having performed the role in London’s Almeida Theatre, the West End and in New York.
This remake will be his first time appearing at ITA.
