Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest / Dwight Breinburg
Singer, violinist and percussionist Dwight Breinburg presents a music program in collaboration with the Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest (AAO).
This music performance is a personal and artistic exploration of sound, rhythm and origin, in which Breinburg interweaves his own musical identity with the rich Arabo-Andalusian traditions of the Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest (AAO).

During this evening, Dwight and the AAO musicians perform pieces from the Andalusian musical diaspora, featuring influences from Spanish, Moroccan and Tunisian music, and the audience is invited to actively participate.
A musical home, a voice of his own
Growing up in Zeeland, Breinburg was captivated from an early age by the rhythms and melodies of Moroccan music. Within the Amsterdams Andalusisch Orkest (AAO), he found a musical home where he was able to further develop and master the orchestra’s genres, rhythms and diverse styles. He has since evolved into a multi-instrumentalist. A versatile musician with a distinctive artistic voice.
