Shows
In Gulliver, primary school pupils between the ages of six and nine give shape to their own, ideal, world. They do this with personally created movements and texts, like mature people who learn to give content themselves to a series of dance lessons. In a period of four months in total, two schools in Amsterdam will work towards a final performance.

As a warm-up during the dance lessons, the sensitivity of the body is discovered through a specially developed dance method, the Double Skin/ Double Mind workshop. In addition, the children work with assignments from the Sensorium - Toolkit for dance.
The resulting material is used as the basis for the final performance of Gulliver, with choreography by Susanne Marx.
The dance education project Gulliver: een kinderrevolutie (a children's revolution) is a collaboration between Susanne Marx and ICK (International Choreographic Arts Centre) together with the Dance in Education programme at the Academie Theater en Dans (Amsterdam School of the Arts) Mocca, Cinedans, Theater de Meervaart and Bijlmer Parktheater .
