Het mooiste blauw
One more night of sleep and then in a queendom far away, the new queen will be crowned. Faizah cannot wait, as her big sister Asiya will wear the hijab crown with it. But in the dead of night, she hears strange whispers around her from people who want to take away the crown. Faizah knows what to do. She will protect her sister from haters and bullies. To let Asiya become what she is meant to be.
In Het mooiste blauw, you will be transported into a fantasy world full of floating lights, colourful animals and talking trees. An adventure about finding the courage to be different and expressing that with pride. About the importance of openness, empathy and (daring to) stand up for what you believe in.

FESTIVAL LIEVE STAD,
Amsterdam is a city of many faces. Lieve Stad, – a celebration of theatre, art, and dialogue – reflects the dynamics of that metropolitan environment, in which the city itself is a source of inspiration. This festival, a collaboration between ITA and Meervaart, is about bringing people together, in the city, in the theatre, in society. How do we live together and what stories do all individuals and groups carry with them?
