Op reis door een nieuwe wereld

In Op reis door een nieuwe wereld, the new geopolitical reality is given a human face. Drawing from encounters filmed for their VPRO series, Terlou and Brandt Corstius tell the broader story. They offer a behind-the-scenes look at their lives as documentary makers—sharing powerful moments and extraordinary events. What drives them to keep traveling, again and again?

We travel along the contours of a new world order—one where U.S. hegemony has faded, and the resulting vacuum is being filled by China and Russia. Where democracies are giving way to autocracies. Where smaller nations like Taiwan and Ukraine are under threat. And where Europe must find a new path forward.
