Filmpremière Atardi

Singer and songwriter Rudy Plaate (1937) is one of the greatest musicians the island of Curaçao has ever known. He composed more than four hundred songs, in which he sang about the life and beauty of the island where he was born. In the documentary Atardi, filmmaker Selwyn de Wind portrays this - still living - music legend and shows what Plaate's music has meant to the island.
