Peper & Zuur?! is a performance as tasty as it is informative. Howard and Noni take you on a journey, through time and around the world. There is live cooking and laughter. Stories will be told and, of course, there will eventually be eating together.

The food industry has discovered that there is big money to be made and labels everything Surinamese. Komproe and Kooiman think it's time to put a stop to this, but also embrace the fresh wind that the young generation is letting blow through the rather conservative Surinamese cooking culture.
About Howard & Noni
Howard Komproe is a stand-up comedian and voice actor. During the corona pandemic, Howard turned to cooking and started the platform Komproeven. Noni Kooiman worked as a cook in several restaurants from the age of seventeen. She also wrote cookbooks and made the culinary travel series Paramaribo peppers for VPRO.
