Wende, the celebrated Dutch singer-songwriter, along with writer E.V. Crowe, will be hosting a unique songwriting masterclass at ITA on Saturday afternoon, December 30th. Through live segments with Wende at the piano, they will share their experiences about the creative process behind the song cycle The Promise and explain how the lyrics and songs came to be.

The song cycle The Promise, themed around motherhood and femininity, was written in London at the Royal Court Theatre in 2021 and had its premiere there.
