The show is a poetic and imaginative dance performance full of color, featuring live singing and modern interpretations of traditional Surinamese music. A unique journey for everyone from 6 to 106.
Ryan Djojokarso about Yanasei
“Yanasei is a performance that can offer comfort to anyone who has ever lost a loved one. When children face loss, it is often deeply moving. Yanasei shows that death is part of life, which can help to find a place for grief.”

Het Parool
"Yanasei’s journey to the afterlife is imaginative and playful."
Kidsproof
"Our Kidsproof reporter’s main conclusion: too short! Yanasei is not scary at all and is absolutely perfect for children. A harmonious, almost hypnotic dream world full of colorful, fantastically imagined creatures."
