MBO

ITA Academy challenges mbo students to actually go and experience performances. To learn from them. To develop critical thinking skills. With performances that connect to their world of experience and preparatory workshops, our programme is an interesting addition to the subject Burgerschap. This way, they get to work on current themes, close to their own world of experience. Let us know what your wishes are, we will be happy to help.

ITA also has many different departments where students can do an internship. An introduction to the theatre company can be a nice first step to help open eyes and opportunities.

MAAK

MAAK sparks students into action by encouraging them to explore both themselves and the world they live in through inquisitive investigation. During a MAAK workshop, we come together to create, play, write and philosophise. Anything that is necessary to give shape to findings, allowing them to communicate with others. It is not about learning technical skills, but about personal development and the experience. A MAAK-workshop may end in a final presentation, but may also remain just an exploration. ITA's art teacher will be the inspirer and guide of the pupils' creative process.

Make your visit to a performance complete with introductions and aftertalks

Visiting a performance or context programme at ITA can be a great introduction to a subject or theme or a broadening of it. For example, our ensemble performance The Doctor is a great evening of theatre, but also makes themes such as cancel culture, racism, gender roles and medical ethics more tangible. So there are many examples of performances that can enrich your educational topics. An introduction and/or follow-up talk to a performance gives even more depth and completes an evening of theatre.

Tailor-made programmes

As arts education is no longer a 'subject' in further education, it is difficult to offer standardised programmes. But we are happy to discuss how the content of performances can enrich your education. This can be in individual workshops or a series of making sessions in which we work with students and explore a theme in more depth. Our building is an inspiring and surprising working environment where new talents can be discovered.
