Higher education

A performance at ITA is never an isolated event. There is always room for exploration and further education. Particularly for students in higher education. At ITA, we like to engage with them about inspiration, social developments and theatre making. Inspiring performances and exciting workshops encourage research into the big issues and dilemmas of our time. As they explore their own thoughts, discover different perspectives and link these to the theme of a performance, they deepen and broaden their professional knowledge and form thoughts and ideas.

THEATRE AND DANCE PERFORMANCES

ITA offers a selection of theatre and dance performances that connect to the perceptions of young audiences. This includes both in-house productions (ITA Junior and ITA Ensemble-performances) and interesting and challenging theatre and dance programming by (inter)national companies. Our ITA Ensemble-productions are surtitled in English on Thursdays.

MAAK

MAAK sparks students into action by encouraging them to explore both themselves and the world they live in through inquisitive investigation. During a MAAK workshop, we come together to create, play, write and philosophise. Anything that is necessary to give shape to findings, allowing them to communicate with others. It is not about learning technical skills, but about personal development and the experience. A MAAK-workshop may end in a final presentation, but may also remain just an exploration. ITA's art teacher will be the inspirer and guide of the students' creative process.
