Espacio Radical
Espacio Radical is a musical programme in collaboration with Stichting Perron, where music, heritage, and encounters come together.
The Bookshop functions as a cultural living room where makers and audiences meet for experimentation, reflection, and new perspectives. Historically, this entrance was connected to the access point for the working class to enter the theatre—an intricate history that Espacio Radical commemorates and questions.
Espacio Radical transforms The Bookshop into a sonic meeting place — a temporary musical home where past and present, city and diaspora, listener and performer intersect.

César Puente
Under the direction of Amsterdam-based Mexican multi-instrumentalist, composer, and vocalist César Puente, Espacio Radical presents a concert that approaches music as a form of coming home and as a way to create new encounters within this architecture.
Guest artists
For this edition, Puente invites guest artists:
Juliana Martina and Jaime Nanoha, Zorzal Son Huasteco, Leonardo Prieto, and Martín el Guacamayo.
Together, they create an atmosphere in The Bookshop where traditional and contemporary sounds from Latin America, improvisation, and interdisciplinary collaboration resonate with the history of the space and with current questions surrounding community, identity, and access to the arts.
More in The Bookshop
For bookworms and eager listeners aged 6 and up, we present The Bookshop Kids! Every first Sunday of the month, we transform our soft‑pink Bookshop into a place full of children’s stories where imagination has all the space it needs.
