Black Achievement Month
The Black Achievement Month Foundation presents the special contributions of persons with African roots to the world and Dutch society in particular during the month of October. For a significant proportion of them, this country is an important focus in their development. With reasonable success, persons with African roots have taken root here and can be found in a range of disciplines in society. Among them you will find scientists, medics, lawyers, writers, artists, theatre-makers, performers, athletes and entrepreneurs. All these talents and their achievements deserve to be brought to the attention of as wide and diverse an audience as possible.

Ivo van Hove adapted Who Killed My Father, by internationally acclaimed writer Édouard Louis, for the stage. Van Hove turned the very outspoken book into a monologue, especially for Hans Kesting.
