Ik Ontmoet Mij (workshop)

Be welcome and take a seat on the soft cushions in the installation's intimate space enclosed by white cloths. In a two-hour workshop, initiators and trainers of Ik Ontmoet Mij, body-oriented therapist Jale Simsek and project leader Myriam Sahraoui, will take you on a special journey inside. Feel simultaneously connected with each other in this introduction to the transformation process in which hundreds of people in various neighbourhoods of Amsterdam have already gone before you. Discover the simplicity of touch and connection, as Jale and Myriam have been sharing for 15 years.

Tickets are normally never sold for these workshops and certainly not in combination with the installation. So this is a one-off unique opportunity to experience this beautiful healing for yourself!

20 – 30 March

Festival Lieve Stad,

Amsterdam is a city of many faces. Lieve Stad, – a celebration of theatre, art, and dialogue – reflects the dynamics of that metropolitan environment, in which the city itself is a source of inspiration. This festival, a collaboration between ITA and Meervaart, is about bringing people together, in the city, in the theatre, in society. How do we live together and what stories do all individuals and groups carry with them?
