For Onze straat (Our street), director Daria Bukvić uses the theatre as the location for a 'street party on the big stage'. Inspired by the classic Our Town (1938) by Thornton Wilder, the audience takes its seats on stage, close to the ten players, to form a new small community for one evening.

Are we still connected to each other in the modern city of today?
Onze straat (Our street) revolves around the question of whether we are still able to connect with each other in a modern European city. We see how the lives of ten residents from one apartment complex develop during a period of twelve years. And how everything around them changes, but life also just continues. With, among others, the Theo d'Or winner Romana Vrede.
