Opening ITA Pride en Pride Art Expo: Peekaboo
This summer, ITA is once again proud to open its doors during WorldPride Amsterdam with a diverse, multi-day programme packed with theatre, performances and (visual) art, centred around queer stories, creators and audiences.
On Saturday 25 July, we will be celebrating the opening of ITA Pride and the Pride Art Expo: Peekaboo. Over the following two weeks, you’re welcome to visit the Bookshop for various Quickies: 30-minute live performances by young artists. You can also catch Wachten op Marsha, a production by Raymi Sambo Maakt about the beginning of a global struggle for equal rights and visibility. And much more besides. View the full programme here!

This idea forms the basis for the Pride Art Expo: PEEKABOO, on display at The Bookshop in ITA.

Multidisciplinary artist Zjef van Bezouw has curated a powerful selection that brings to life the beauty, resilience and diversity of the LGBTQIA+ community. The exhibition offers a glimpse into the rich array of queer art that will be on display throughout the city during Pride 2026.
