Brecht’s First Play is a sharp and humorous reinterpretation of Bertolt Brecht’s play Baal. What do we do with an antihero? Suppress, ignore, or cancel them? Does banishing “monsters” make society safer — or is society itself antisocial?

Artist talk or performance? Both, and neither. Bocanegra intertwines her own story with a monumental sixteenth-century tapestry, brought to life by actress and activist Tanya Selvaratnam. Sharp, witty, and moving.

With 41 musicians, the Asasello Quartet, and eight dancers, Thiersch creates a powerful danse macabre about the power of images. Music ranging from Johann Sebastian Bach to Karlheinz Stockhausen, dadaist tableaux vivants, and a nonstop stream of visual stimuli.

The Siren Sale lasts 24 hours, from Monday at noon to Tuesday at noon, on the first 100 tickets per performance or production. First come, first served. The discount is automatically calculated in the shopping cart.
