Siren Sale
Every first Monday of the month - from the moment the Amsterdam sirens go off at noon - you can buy a ticket with a 50% discount. For this month, we have selected The End of Eddy.
Please note that the discount is only valid for the performances at ITA from 7 to 23 May.
ITA Ensemble / Toneelschuur Producties / Eline Arbo
The End of Eddy
Please note, this performance is spoken in Dutch and contains English surtitles on Thursdays and Saturdays.
Édouard Louis took the world by storm with his successful autobiographical novel The End of Eddy. Without much frills, the novel tells the life story of a homosexual boy growing up in a homophobic environment.
In 2020, director Eline Arbo made her own theatrical and musical adaptation of this novel for Toneelschuur Producties. She was awarded the VSCD directing award for this theatrical hit and the performance was selected for the Dutch Theatre Festival. The original cast from 2020 was nominated for the Louis d'Or, which at the time was the theatre award for best male lead.
Siren Sale
Here's how it works: the performance for the Siren Sale will be announced on Monday at noon via the special Siren Sale newsletter and on our website. The Siren Sale lasts 24 hours, from Monday at noon to Tuesday at noon, on the first 50 tickets per performance. First come, first served. The discount is automatically calculated in the shopping cart.
- We recommend that you mainly buy your tickets online. Tickets for the selected performance can be purchased via the website and at the box office.
- The promotion cannot be combined with other discounts or promotions (such as CJP, Stadspas, sprint membership, Vriendenloterij VIP-KAART).
- It is not possible to redeem tickets already purchased in retrospect with the Siren Sale, and tickets purchased during the sale can’t be exchanged for another date at the same price once the sale is over.
