The cozy December month at ITA
Come warm up with us this December and immerse yourself in the magical world of theater! We're closing the year with two special performances: 1000+1 nacht by Toneelmakerij and SADETTIN K and The Promise (The Song Project) by Wende Snijders!
1000+1 nacht
We are most familiar with the stories of One Thousand and One Nights through the fairy-tale Disney movies such as Aladdin, Sinbad, and Ali Baba and the Forty Robbers. The Toneelmakerij and master storyteller SADETTIN K use these age-old tales as inspiration for the new musical family performance 1000+1 nacht. Let yourself be enchanted by the power of stories. Suitable for everyone aged 8 years and up!
THE PROMISE (THE SONG PROJECT)
After the success of the previous season, Wende returns with her international tour de force The Promise (The Song Project), a poignant, modern song cycle about identity, origin, and all the shades of being a woman in our time. With this, she brings light to the dark days between Christmas and New Year.
THE 1000+1 NACHT EXPERIENCE
In the 1000+1 Nights Experience children are challenged to contemplate the power of stories and to experience them firsthand! The experience is free to visit from one and a half hours before to one hour after the performance and begins in the ITA Salon.
