Selected for the Nederlands Theater Festival 2022 in the official jury selection!
After the successful ILIAS in 2019, KONVOOI is once again making a modern adaptation of a classic from literary history, interspersed with musical numbers and five-part harmonies. De meester en Margarita is an illusionary trip about misunderstanding, the fear of the unknown and the courage to not know for sure.

De Meester en Margarita
In De meester en Margarita, the devil visits Moscow to expose the self-deception of its inhabitants. What follows is an alienating journey alongside three people who no longer understand the world and who each deal with it in their own way. We meet a young poet who becomes convinced that he is living a lie, a depressed writer who has locked himself up in an asylum and Margarita, who is looking for something true above all else.

Official jury selection NTF
De meester en Margarita is selected for the Nederlands Theater Festival 2022. From the jury report: 'The sinister pleasure splashes from the stage in this breathtaking musical theatre experience, in which the truth is dismantled and doubt and confusion are then cheerfully rehabilitated. De meester en Margarita is a wonderful nightmare from which you do not want to wake up'.
