LOVE
LOVE ❤ is a portrait of love in the 21st century. Club Guy & Roni are collaborating with GöteborgsOperans Danskompani, one of Europe's leading dance companies, for this performance. Slagwerk Den Haag will also be on stage to accompany the dancers live.

Love is one of the most important motives of human relationships and therefore one of the most widely used subjects in the creative arts. Inspired by the work of filmmakers such as Wes Anderson and Robert Altman, LOVE ❤ follows a collection of diverse romances. We see people's search for the core of that emotion. We see how everyone is becoming increasingly demanding in terms of love. We expect our partner to be the love of our lives, and the perfect sex partner, a great father or mother, a soul mate and good looking to boot.
LOVE ❤ is also inspired by Peter Handke's Die schönen Tage von Aranjuez (2016). In that work, Handke portrays the different worlds of male and female experience and their divergent visions of love.
Artists
Club Guy & Roni is an international dance company from Groningen, founded in 2002 by Guy Weizman and Roni Haver. Club Guy & Roni's performances push the boundaries of the 'dance' genre. The company regularly collaborates with artists from other disciplines such as music, theatre, literature, film and the visual arts. The generation of new music is a priority in Club Guy & Roni's work. That is why the company works with various composers and ensembles like Slagwerk Den Haag and Asko|Schönberg.
The Swedish GöteborgsOperans Danskompani consists of performers from all over the world. The company works with both established choreographers and promising talents.
