De portrettengalerij: Out en Proud?!
Internationaal Theater Amsterdam
During Pride Week, Internationaal Theater Amsterdam opens its doors to the largest public and historical theatre collection in the Netherlands. Guided by a tour leader, we will visit the most beautiful parts of the building and reflect on theatre makers such as Ramses Shaffy, Annie van Ees, Abke Haring, and Felix de Rooy, who explored questions of gender and identity in their work.

Was it possible for actors to be themselves throughout theatre history—and could they show this on stage? During this guided tour, you'll discover the queer history of Internationaal Theater Amsterdam and the Stadsschouwburg.
