Laila Frank is a journalist and America expert for Eva, NPO Radio 1 and De Groene Amsterdammer, among others. She also produces the NPO Radio 1 podcast series Welcome to Washington. Bernard Hammelburg is one of the best-known America experts. He is host of BNR De Wereld and together with Jan makes the BNR America Podcast. Bernard was an America correspondent for many years. Jan Postma is America correspondent for BNR News Radio and various other media. Based in Washington DC, he participates in the theater show and keeps his finger on the pulse throughout the country. He also produces the BNR America Podcast.
Guitarist Johannes Kapteijn provides the musical accompaniment. With slide, fingerpicking and alternative tunings, he plays his Gibson J-45 (The Workhorse) and brings an unmistakably American sound.
