Een groter verhaal
What do slavery and melting ice caps have to do with each other? In Een Groter Verhaal, the answer turns out to be simple and uncomfortable: everything. The past continues to shape how we treat the Earth, animals, and natural resources, as if the world can be used endlessly.

Een groter verhaal
In Een Groter Verhaal, Bureau Vergezicht and actor Romana Vrede explore what a different relationship with the Earth could look like. Not driven by guilt or outrage, but through language, imagination, and humour. The performance searches for new ways of seeing, where not ownership and depletion are central, but connection and responsibility.-|-
The work asks how we can continue living in a system that keeps crossing boundaries. And what happens when we try to decolonise not only the Earth, but also our way of thinking.
