Everywhere is here
In Everywhere is here, NDT 1 explores two distinct visions of contemporary dance. Both works are poetic and visual, yet driven by completely different energies and movement languages. The evening brings together a world premiere by associate choreographer Marco Goecke and the return of Ties Unseen (2024) by Christos Papadopoulos.

Marco Goecke – world premiere
After eleven creations for NDT over the past decades, associate choreographer Marco Goecke returns with a new work developed especially with the dancers of NDT 1. The piece places their individual qualities and collective strength at its centre and celebrates the intensity of their collaboration.-|-
Goecke is known for his sharp, emotional, and layered movement language. In this world premiere, that language comes to life again in a world of tension, detail, and physical urgency, shaped by trust and a long-standing artistic relationship with the company.
Christos Papadopoulos – Ties Unseen (2024)
In Ties Unseen, Christos Papadopoulos explores the invisible connections that shape our daily lives. Subtle movement, rhythm, and repetition form a collective system in constant transformation.-|-
Set to a driving electronic score, the dancers move as one organism without losing their individuality. The result is a hypnotic performance in which cohesion and autonomy continuously intersect, making the invisible visible.
