Between chaos and order
Never has the transition from order to chaos felt so relevant. In NEGEN, that chaos is physically palpable. Before a new order can emerge, chaos first reigns supreme. The number nine symbolises both disruption and wholeness: transformation, but also tension.-|-
In nine scenes, a DJ creates a layered soundscape and shifting lightscapes live. Nine dancers move as a single organism, driven by rhythm and repetition. Movement patterns appear and disappear again, like unstable balances.
What do we leave behind, what disappears with the chaos?
