ITA is looking for a Head of the Theatre Technical Department
ITA is looking for an enthusiastic and driven Stage Manager to start as soon as possible for our theatre on Leidseplein

What will you be doing?
As Stage Manager you are responsible for the technical preparation and delivery of shows and events. You maintain contact with companies and performers, coordinate technical requirements and keep the Technical Coordinator informed of relevant developments. You also advise on staffing and help shape rotas, technical innovations and the development of the team. With your broad technical knowledge you safeguard the quality and maintenance of the stage technology inventory, and you ensure a safe working environment by overseeing compliance with fire safety, health and safety and other safety regulations.
We are looking for a new colleague who
- Has knowledge of and experience in stage technology and expertise in lighting, sound and video
- Has a great love of theatre and feels at home in a cultural environment
- Has experience in leading, motivating and inspiring a team
- Is educated to senior secondary vocational or higher professional level, or has equivalent experience
- Takes decisions easily and knows how to set priorities, including under pressure
- Has a good spoken and written command of Dutch and English
- Is a team player who works creatively, positively, calmly under pressure and flexibly
- And is socially skilled and has a healthy sense of humour
