For everyone who does not want to be told how it should be done

Whether with friends in the playground, with your grandmother in the kitchen, quietly under your desk, shamelessly in front of the mirror or simply on the inside: everybody dances sometimes. But who decides how you dance? Who chooses our rhythm? Why is one person free to move one way and another not? Is there such a thing as the right dance? And what is dance anyway? In EN NOU GAAN WE EVEN HELEMAAL UIT ONZE PLAAT (een topshow) we end up in an unfamiliar little dance hall where a moody DJ takes you through every possible style and move. There is vogueing, slow dancing, breakdancing, hip-hop, shuffling, bebop, TikTok dancing and stomping. In all sorts of whirling and absurd attempts, five performers try to dance themselves free of everything that others have decided for them.
