We are ITA and we are at home in the Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam. We turn this house into a home. For a great many different people, on stage and behind the scenes. From our caretaker to a dear close friend. From our own actors to their fellow actors. From our programmer to the donors who lovingly commit themselves to the work we make. Together, all these people make the Stadsschouwburg the place it is.
Over the past year we spoke with loyal visitors, neighbours, companies and passers-by about their bond with the building. Wonderful stories emerged: about remarkable encounters, about performances that made an impression, about wandering through the historic building, about feeling at home.
