Aiko Beemsterboer

Aiko Beemsterboer is a talented young Dutch actor. At the age of nine she played her first role in the feature film Leve Boerenliefde (2013). At eighteen she received a Gouden Kalf nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the romantic comedy Wat is dan Liefde (2020). In 2025 she was nominated for Best Leading Role for the feature film Ik zal zien, in which she plays Lot, a young girl who slowly goes blind after a tragic accident. The jury of the Netherlands Film Festival praised her acting, emphasising that her subtle and powerful portrayal carries the emotional weight of the film.

In the 26/27 season Aiko Beemsterboer can be seen at ITA in the premiere of Wuthering Heights (directed by Kjersti Horn).
