Ilke Paddenburg

Ilke Paddenburg graduated from the Arnhemse Toneelschool in 2011. She has been a member of the ITA Ensemble since the 2019/20 season.

At ITA, Paddenburg has previously appeared in the productions Primeval and Other Times, Age of Rage, Judas, Flight 49, Freud, Kings of war, Roman Tragedies, Penthesilea, The Years, The Doctor and The Hours.

In the 2026/27 season Paddenburg appears in the revivals of The Architect and The Hours.

She has also performed in productions by Keesen & Co, Theater Oostpool, Theater Utrecht and Mugmetdegoudentand.

Alongside her acting work at ITA, she has in recent years also turned to film. Her debut short film Een dag in het leven van een vrouwfiguur was selected for competition at Les Arcs Film Festival. A Shot at Art confirmed her talent as a filmmaker. The film had its world premiere at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival, where it won the International Audience Award, and went on to be screened at leading festivals such as SXSW in Austin and Festival Regard in Québec, where it received the Grand Prize. A Shot at Art has since become an international festival success.
