Rebecca Frecknall
Rebecca Frecknall is a multi-Olivier Award-winning director working in the United Kingdom and internationally. She is an Associate Director at the Almeida Theatre and incoming Associate Director at the Old Vic in London. She was named one of The Stage's Most Influential Figures working in Theatre in both 2023 and 2024.
Since 2025 Frecknall has been the Ibsen Artist in Residence at ITA, an initiative of the Philip Loubser Foundation that gives directors with international ambitions the opportunity to develop their artistic practice.
In the 2026/27 season her production of The Architect returns to the stage.
