Rabobank Amsterdam and ITA have been working together for more than fifteen years. As a partner, the bank was involved from the very beginning in the development of the Rabozaal, the new auditorium added to Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam in 2009. Since then the collaboration has gone further than sponsorship or naming alone. Rabobank and ITA find common ground in their commitment to Amsterdam and to the people who work and live together there.

De Staat van de Stad
Together with Pakhuis De Zwijger, the City of Amsterdam and Rabobank we organise De Staat van de Stad every year. A strong, substantive programme that offers a cross-section of how the city is doing. During De Staat van de Stad, residents, policymakers, researchers and civil society organisations talk to one another about what is going on in the city. Using current figures, insights and experiences, they look at developments, opportunities and challenges in the city. Quality of life, for instance, or the mental health of young Amsterdammers.
De Staat van de Stad is a live stage programme with speakers, an annual contribution from Mayor Halsema and live theatre and dance excerpts. And De Staat van de Stad is a coming together. Of people seeing one another again. And of Amsterdammers meeting for the first time.
Rabo Duo Ticket
In 2025 Rabobank and ITA together developed the Rabo Duo Ticket; especially for young people in Amsterdam who would not normally think of going to the theatre. An accessible, financially more attractive introduction designed to remove every barrier.
The concept is still being developed through various pilots, together with young theatre lovers and Amsterdammers who have never been to de Stadsschouwburg before. Want to know more about the Rabo Duo Ticket, or tell the young people around you about it? Please do! We would love that.
RABO x ITA New Year reception
Rabobank and ITA jointly organise a New Year gathering in the Rabozaal. Both organisations invite their business contacts, so that Amsterdam's business community and Amsterdam's cultural and creative sector meet one another and kick off the new year together. In 2026 the sport and leisure sector was added.
The gathering is a festive start to the new year, but also a moment to look ahead together and see where we can make a difference jointly.
