What makes a place feel like home and who makes us feel at home?
The production builds on the universe of Janssen’s earlier work HOME (2017 and 2021), which explored the question of where, and with whom, we feel at home. Conny Janssen Danst’s diverse and adventurous ensemble brings this search to life through an intense blend of raw energy and quiet poetry. Memories, loss, hope, and connection continually intertwine as the dancers navigate a world shaped by both personal and universal questions.

Her layered sound, which blends North African influences, alternative pop, and poetic lyrics, deepens the performance’s themes and enhances the emotional power of the dance. Together, music and movement create a world that is at once intimate and expansive, powerful and vulnerable, making the complexities of home, identity, and human connection profoundly felt.
